Throughout the years, but especially in college, people would see me writing Gregg and ask: "What language is that?" I got tired of explaining, so I would just say: "English."
Since medical school, please seem to say: "Oh, do you take shorthand?" And, again tired of the triteness of the questions, I say: "Why, yes. Don't you?!"
