As a beginner in shorthand (DJS) I wanted to know your thoughts on taking an online course (universalclasses.com) vs. just going through the Gregg Shorthand textbook on my own. There aren't any instructor-taught courses in my area and so didn't know if the online course would be the best way for me to grasp the fundamentals of shorthand or if I'm better off going through the textbook lesson by lesson.
