I was just sitting around going through the lessons in Gregg Simplified, writing outline after outline when my mind started to wander to the Ray Charles album playing in the background. Well I started copying down the lyrics in shorthand and found it to be great fun. The lyrics repeat themselves often so I could get the tougher outlines the second or third time around. What an enjoyable way to practice dictation.
