To all of you who so graciously took the time to look over the file I uploaded regarding my grandfather's diary entry - I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness is much appreciated and the rough translatino I was able to get will be of much use next week when I meet with another "shorthander," diary-in-hand, to try and get an even better translation.
