The Sign of the Four

Have just received this hard-bound volume in pristtine condition and am having a most enjoyable read. The shorthand is definitely pre-Anniversary which is not necessarily a bad thing as I've discovered in my recent Gregg explorations ... and each page is printed in 2 columns to resemble a steno pad (but with no rules as guides for positioning). There is no publication date in the book. Shorthand plates were written by Alice Rinn챕 Hagar,
G53-C3-C
CH
I should add her shorthand is neat and pleasant to read.
(Ah, they could write Gregg in those days ... sigh, LOL)
Hope to find an affordable Alice sometime ... I fear the discussion on another board in this group may have driven the price up beyond my puny weekly stipend.
