We've improved the "slow it down!" program for computerized dictation.
The program is at:
http://www.onebit.ca/cgi-bin/short.py
This online program (source code available on request) will insert ssml codes into normal text. The resulting text file is then fed into a free text-to-speech program, and the resulting sound file can be saved to disk.
We've added extra time for punctuation marks and you can now do three speeds in one go.
I hope this helps!
