Flash Cards

This is probably _so_ obvious that everybody already does it, I certainly wouldn't call it an epiphany.
I wanted to try flash cards, and the task of writing them out just did not appeal to me.  Then I looked at the 5000 most commonly used words book which can be downloaded from angelfishy.  I printed off the first few pages (it's organized in order of presentation in the manual), clipped out the columns of words and outlines, folded them in half so the text is on one side and the outlines are on the other.  Voila!  Flash cards!
I didn't clip to individual words, they come out naturally in columns that I can put in my pocket.  The longer ones I chopped down to about six or eight words.  So far it seems to be a good study tool.
