IBM Keyboards

I ran into this NPR piece about the classic IBM Model M keyboards, probably the best keyboard ever built, as they were very solid. If you don't recognize the name, these are the ones with the clickety sound everytime you press a key. Although IBM stopped producing these in the 90's, there is a company in Kentucky that is still manufacturing them. (In fact, I still have one of these and it is still working like a charm! Better than the cheap stuff you get at Best Buy.) Here's a picture of the old keyboard.

The company's website, Unicomp: http://www.pckeyboard.com/. They take custom orders. Here's a picture of their version of the Model M keyboard:

Pretty impressive, if you ask me.
