Happy New Year!

May the New Year be prosperous, full of joy and blessings for all of you, and thank you for your continuing sponsorship of the group!

Someone said once that a New Year's resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other. Why not retake shorthand if you have left it on the side? If you write decent shorthand, why not improve upon what you already know? Perhaps work on that extra 10 wpm on speed? Or if your penmanship is not that good, why not take some time to improve it? From my end, I will continue to post articles to improve your reading and penmanship, and audio selections for dictation practice. As always, if you have a request, or if you like to see something different, please let me know.

Lastly, I end with the words of the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson:

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
