Font used in the various Gregg publications

Does anyone know the fonts used in the various Gregg publications, for instance the Gregg Writer, the Pre-Anniversary and Anniversary manuals, the Q's and A's of Shorthand Theory?

  1. By fonts, I gather you mean typefaces. Those publications used lots of typefaces, for text, titles of articles, headers, etc., and they will vary between the years, even within a series of Gregg. For example, the typefaces used in the first and second editions of the Simplified and DJS manuals are different. If you can narrow your question to a few that you want to find out and add some samples in your post, we could help you identify those.

Also, have you used Identifont.com? It is a pretty good website for font identification. Fonts.com is also very good.

    1. I've retypeset the Q's and A's of Shorthand Theory [1], and I wanted to keep it as close as possible to the original version, so I was looking for a font similar to the one used in it [2].
