The Q's and A's of Shorthand Theory

I've retypeset the Q's and A's of Shorthand Theory. I've added hyperlinks to the contents. There are some spacing issues that I haven't figured out yet.

I've added some forms that I wrote (page 91), but I'm not sure of the best way to go about this.

What do you think?

Edit: updated post regarding hyperlinks and the forms I wrote.

  1. Very nice!

The original book text was written in Caslon Regular, Caslon Std Italic, and Caslon Bold. The title and author in the Title page appear to be Century Schoolbook, but the footer is Caslon Regular.

I haven't found which fonts were used for the book cover.

  4. I'm curious about why you chose to re-typeset it, rather than simply scanning and reproducing the existing book. It seems like an enormous amount of work.

    1. The search feature isn't perfect in the PDF I had available [1]. Some characters are misread as others. I copy-pasted all the text from the PDF and had to correct whatever wasn't correctly read, so while it was a fair bit of work, it wasn't so bad.
